Job Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support microbiological operations in a GMP-regulated environment. The QC Microbiology Analyst will perform critical environmental monitoring and water sampling on-site to ensure product safety and facility control. The ideal candidate has hands-on microbiology experience, strong documentation skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Job Responsibilities include:
* Environmental monitoring of GMP areas.
* Sampling of water systems; WFI, RIW, Clean Steam, etc.
* Biological indicator testing
* Media Fill reads
* Plate reading
* Basic lab support functions
* Handle, document, and manage samples according to procedures and GMP requirements.
* Assist in coordinating equipment maintenance and calibration.
* Use Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)/Mobile Data Acquisition (MODA) for sample and test result tracking.
* Participate in employee training.
* Investigate/own quality records.
* Write trend reports.
* Provide assistance to staff as needed.
* Support overtime, weekend, and holiday schedules as required.
Qualifications
* BSc or Diploma in Microbiology or related field with at least 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical regulatory environment.
* Experience with environmental monitoring is required.
* Knowledge of cGMPs.
* Good team player, organized, detail-oriented, with strong documentation skills.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
* Passionate about quality and customer service.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, permanent position working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00.
