Job Overview
Lead Firmware Engineer – permanent full‑time role located in Shannon, Ireland. The position is fully office‑based five days a week and is a replacement role within an established and growing organization.
Responsibilities
Evaluate requirements at the system level in collaboration with colleagues across the organization.
Lead design activities and coach team engineers on an ongoing basis.
Perform cross‑platform C/C++ development while ensuring code quality throughout.
Qualifications
Hold a third‑level degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
Have a minimum of three years of experience developing embedded C/C++ applications for embedded operating systems.
Experience in designing industrial products.
Proven ability to lead a team and work across multidisciplinary teams to secure successful design outcomes for customers.
Benefits
Salary range €70,000–80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The organization offers health insurance, pension, income protection, life assurance and 25 days of annual leave from day one.
