Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management
* Supporting commercial teams in achieving project objectives.
* Monitoring project performance and reporting any variances.
* Ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
* Ongoing review and analysis of project budgets.
* Maintaining effective internal controls and processes.
* Evaluating contract claims, variations, and risks.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Subcontractor Administration
* Establishing clear documentation procedures before project commencement.
* Careful monitoring of payment dates and retention releases.
* Providing comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.
* Developing KPIs and exception reports for projects.
* Monthly P&L reviews with each project team.
* Weekly reporting on working capital by project.
* Commercial management of contract tenders and renewals.
* Tender development, including pricing models and risk assessments.
* SDP process management.
* Negotiating commercial contracts with clients.
* Creating project timelines, schedules, milestones, cost profiles, and margin estimates.
* Ongoing forecasting of project timelines, costs to completion, and final contract position.
