My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Senior .Net Developer to join the team. This is a perm role working on a hybrid model.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Microsoft .NET applicationsProvide third-line support across a range of applications and systemsInvestigate and resolve issues, including root cause analysisCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Service Delivery, Infrastructure, Change)Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and issue resolutionDeliver high-quality solutions aligned with business needs, within agreed timelines and SLAsEnsure all solutions meet architectural and security standards, producing secure, scalable, and maintainable applicationsDevelop a strong understanding of complex systems and their integrationsSupport production systems and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with internal teamsFacilitate smooth transition from development to production, including documentation and knowledge transferFollow established IT processes and best practicesCreate and maintain accurate technical documentationContribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organisational goalsRelease & Change ManagementSupport and maintain release management processesPrepare and deploy releases to non-production and production environmentsContribute to change management activities (e.g. CAB)Identify opportunities to automate deployment and release processesPlanning & DeliverySupport capacity planning and deliver relevant reporting to managementSkills & ExperienceDegree in Computer Science or equivalentMinimum 5 years’ experience developing .NET solutionsStrong understanding of the full software development lifecycleProven experience with:.NET, C#, SQLWeb API or WCF, MVCSSRS, SSISExperience with tools such as Git, Jira, Azure DevOps (or similar)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively across teams and independently when requiredStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindsetAbility to analyse business requirements and design effective solutionsComfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAdaptable, flexible, and delivery-focusedNice to HaveExperience working in Agile environmentsExposure to D365, VB.NET, Blazor, or automated testingMicrosoft certifications (or equivalent)
