University College Dublin is seeking applications for a dedicated Research Fellow to work at Systems Biology Ireland ( The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of the research project 'Modelling childhood cancers from bench to bedside' during the second phase of the Precision Oncology Ireland research programme ( The project is a collaboration with the Children's Health Foundation and will be supervised by Prof. Jonathan Bond. The aim of the project is to use a combination of modelling approaches (in silico, in vitro, and in vivo) to identify new therapy strategies for high-risk childhood blood cancers. The research will build on previous computational and biological research at SBI and will benefit from close scientific integration with the MAGIC-I genomics programme that is co-led by SBI and the clinical Irish National Children's Cancer Service at Children's Health Ireland.
