Junior Mechanical Project Engineer
to support live projects in Dublin. The role offers hands-on exposure to mechanical design, site delivery, and close collaboration with senior engineers, making it an ideal platform for early-career development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with reviewing drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards
* Support site teams to ensure mechanical works are installed in line with project specifications and QA plans
* Assist in developing engineering solutions, calculations, and sketches for review by senior engineers and clients
* Review Design/IFC documentation to understand project scope and priorities
* Assist with the preparation and management of RFIs and technical queries
* Support the review of coordinated construction drawings and technical documentation
* Assist in preparing technical submittals for client approval
* Review specialist supplier packages for compliance with specifications and design intent
* Support procurement scheduling in coordination with the procurement team
* Assist with BCAR documentation and preliminary inspection plans
* Provide on-site support including setting-out activities and quality inspections as required
Role Requirements:
* Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
* 1+ years' experience in a similar industry role (desirable, not essential)
* Strong IT skills with familiarity in
AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced project environment
