 
        
        Automation Engineer Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, configuring, implementing, maintaining and providing ongoing support for various manufacturing equipment-specific applications and systems in a controlled environment.
 * Provide end-user technical assistance for small manufacturing equipment applications, including troubleshooting issues and communicating them to management, process owners and users.
 * Work on equipment ranging from standalone units such as UV Spectrophotometers, pH meters and particle samplers to networked equipment like wave rockers, chromatography skids and cell analyzers.
 * Oversee and execute automation preventative maintenance activities.
 * Generate technical documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions and configuration specification documents.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key qualifications for this position include:
 * Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
 * Minimum 3 years of experience in automation engineering or a related field.
 * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or C++.
 * Experience with automation software and hardware, including PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems and data analytics tools.
 * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
