Locum Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry
Overview
The purpose of this post is to support the Departments of Paediatric Dentistry in the day to day running of services and in service development and progress. The Department of Paediatric Dentistry in Children’s Health Ireland delivers oral health services across Crumlin, Tallaght and Temple St. The services vary across the sites in terms of scope and size.
Essential Criteria
* Be registered in the Register of Dentists for Ireland or be entitled to be so registered;
* Three years certified postgraduate specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry or equivalent;
* Be in possession of the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship or a minimum of twenty-four months in a full-time training post or equivalent part-time under the supervision of a named Consultant in the speciality, post qualification as a specialist or equivalent. (Part-time training pro-rata to be attained within five years)
* An additional three years Consultant supervised post-graduate clinical practice experience in Specialist Paediatric Dentistry or equivalent.
