Job Title: Oracle Developer (Contract)
Location: Remote but must be based in Ireland
Contract Duration: 6 Months
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join our clients team on a contract basis. This role is based in Dublin and will require 2-3 days onsite per week. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in PL/SQL development and at least 8 years of hands-on experience working on enterprise-grade systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages
* Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
* Ensure performance tuning and code optimization across Oracle databases
* Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
* Support and maintain existing PL/SQL applications
Requirements:
* Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
* Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (12c or later preferred)
* Experience with ETL
* Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
* Familiarity with data modeling and relational database design
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities
* Background in Financial Services or large-scale enterprise environments
