The Panel has been retained to source a commercially minded
Head of Finance
to join a dynamic, PE-backed business.
This is a high-impact leadership role for an entrepreneurial finance professional who can act as the key liaison with the private equity firm and drive strategic financial decision-making.
Overview
Responsible for leading financial operations, planning, and strategy to support growth and value creation.
Partner with the CEO and Board on key decisions and manage relationships with PE investors.
Key Responsibilities:
Own all financial operations, reporting, and planning
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Provide strategic insight to support business growth and value creation
Partner with the CEO and Board on key decisions
Act as the primary point of contact with the private equity investors
Support M&A activity, fundraising, and exit planning as required
Build and lead a high-performing finance team
Key Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with years PQE
Experience in financial leadership roles with a strong preference for experience in a PE-backed environment
Strong commercial acumen and hands-on approach
Background in Financial Services or industry welcome
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
