About Your New Job:
You will work as a Mechanical Project Manager responsible for managing projects from contract award to handover on commercial/industrial projects. The successful candidate will report directly to the Construction Director.
Your role will be to oversee the daily operations of mechanical construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will also lead a team of skilled mechanical supervisors, trades staff and sub contractors and coordinate with the engineers and senior management.
What You'll Need:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Site/Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably on large contracts.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical construction methods, materials, and equipment.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
* Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools is a plus.
* A relevant degree mechanical engineering or construction management is preferred, or a relevant mechanical trade qualification.
