Opportunity
We are seeking kind, caring empathetic people, with strong communication and IT skills, who enjoy working in a fast-pace environment, to join our ever-expanding Care team. Based in our Carlow Care Hub, you will play an integral role in providing remote support to clients that enable them to lead as independent lives as possible, in their own homes. Our team of Care Specialists are responsible for treating our customers with dignity, sensitivity & respect, taking time to listen, talk & build a rapport with them.
This role will be ideally suited to candidates who have a naturally respectful & courteous attitude to people and enjoy working within well-established processes and procedures. Successful applicants will:
* Use a variety of bespoke systems to deliver effective remote care to our clients
* Respond to events as per agreed customer care pathways
* Act as a point of contact for circle of care of our customers
* Be responsible for inbound and outbound phone calls and at all times demonstrate an exceptional level of empathy, sensitivity and professionalism.
* Create daily reports, which includes contact made and actions taken.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent, QQ1 level 5 in healthcare (preferred) or care skills & care of the elderly person equivalent.
* Cheerful & compassionate by nature with an ability to exercise good judgment in emergency situations and act on own initiative
* Good listening skills & sensitivity in giving emotional support
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Respect for confidentiality at all times
* Excellent communication skills in English is vital; both verbal & written
* A high level of IT literacy, especially MS Office and/ or bespoke Management Information Systems
* Ability to adapt, learn quickly and multitask effectively under pressure in a high volume and fast paced team environment
* A proven track record of performing consistently at a high level
* A team player who is flexible in order to meet business needs.
