Job Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our European SMB Risk team.
This role will focus on driving acquisition strategies that support SMB growth across multiple European countries.
The Senior Manager will work closely with business leaders, risk professionals, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute the acquisition risk management roadmap.
Key responsibilities include leading a team of three to become the center of excellence in European SMB acquisition, developing a framework for different risks, and executing strategies to optimize the trade-off between risk and rewards.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in financial technology, banking, or payments, with deep subject matter expertise and execution in managing data-based strategies to separate fraud and credit risks.
Strong knowledge in data analytics is required, as well as experience managing consumer or Small Medium Business (SMB) acquisition fraud and credit risk in the European markets.
The Senior Manager will also be responsible for driving positive outcomes between risk management and business leaders, and for developing strong communication and education skills to demystify risk management and bring transparency across business.
