Client and project overview:
My Client are a C.€200m turnover Main Contractor with an excellent reputation for building high-quality Hotels & Apartments in the Dublin region. They have been trading just over 100 years and have won numerous awards along the way. As you travel around Dublin you will see a number of their landmark projects.
This advert is for a recently-awarded Contract for a heritage building in Dublin City is being converted to a very high finish Apartment block. It will take roughly 2-3 years to complete.
The project starts in the next few weeks and my Client are looking for someone to manage this from start to finish and are happy to wait for the right person.
The project will include as below:
* Maintain as much of the existing structure/style
* Cut & Carve - plenty of steel, glass and concrete
* Renovations to existing finishings
* Heavy M&E and internals upgrade
For the right person this will be a building project will be one that you'll be really proud to have worked on.
Main responsibilities will include:
* Lead the on-site team - keep people happy, motivated and informed.
* Manage all aspects of project delivery, from inception to completion.
* Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Monitor and maintain project targets and progress, manage risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
* Oversee project planning, coordination, and control, ensuring on-time and within budget delivery whilst upholding Company EHS standards.
Requirements:
* Enjoy a good challenge.

* Possess the ability to influence people.
* Previous experience Project Managing Construction Projects in Ireland or UK.
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience as Construction Engineer or PM.
* Strong knowledge of construction techniques, regulations, and health & safety requirements.
* Proven track record in delivering complex residential projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple teams across various disciplines.
* It would be great to have Project Management qualifications (PMP, Degree, Etc.)
