Responsibilities
Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and in line with specifications
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to maintain productivity and programme adherence
Track project progress, ensuring all activities comply with drawings, specifications, and programme milestones
Enforce health & safety standards in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations
Uphold high-quality standards through routine inspections and quality control procedures
Collaborate with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Engineers, and design team to coordinate activities and resolve on-site issues
Manage site logistics, including materials and plant, ensuring efficient procurement and utilisation of resources
Maintain accurate daily site records and progress reports, ensuring clear communication with senior management
Support the identification and management of variations in collaboration with the commercial team
Lead site meetings, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to ensure effective communication and site coordination
