Job Description
Design Manager – responsible for the technical management of the building project in County Dublin, reporting to the Project Manager. Key responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary design teams and third parties, ensuring quality, programme delivery, commercial outcomes, as well as health and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
Lead the design team and coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outputs.
Provide technical direction and oversight for the building project.
Ensure project design meets quality, safety, and programme requirements.
Maintain clear communication with design team, contractors and third parties.
Co‑ordinate technical approvals and address programme and commercial risks.
Qualifications
Degree in engineering, construction management or a related field.
Post‑graduate qualifications and/or membership of a professional institute such as Engineers Ireland desirable.
Relevant experience in a contracting environment, including demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and interfacing with contractors and third parties.
