Position: Manufacturing Technician

Parker Stewart are partnering with a market-leading medical devices organisation to hire a Manufacturing Technician to support a diagnostics manufacturing site. The role operates on a rotating shift pattern, including both day and night shifts. This is a hands-on role working across automated production and facilities equipment, supporting both legacy machinery and newer, high-tech automation in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Candidates must be within commutable distance to Longford as this is an onsite role.
Key Duties:
* Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing and facilities equipment to ensure maximum uptime and production continuity
* Provide fault-finding support across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems
* Support a mix of legacy equipment (printers, vision inspection systems) and newer automated/robotic equipment
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
* Work closely with production and engineering teams while adhering to safety, quality, and GMP requirements
Experience & Skills required:
* Strong experience in a manufacturing production environment
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with exposure to automated or servo-driven equipment
* Experience working on labeling equipment, printers, or vision inspection systems is highly desirable
* Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, or controls fault-finding is an advantage
* Ability to work a rotating 24/7 shift pattern (day and night shifts) and be based within reasonable commuting distance
* Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills are essential for this role
