You will support our team as Senior NPI Engineer Responsibilities Lead the introduction of new products and packaging into commercial manufacturing, making sure every transfer meets the highest standards for quality, timelines, and budget.
Act as a subject matter expert, guiding cross‑functional teams and providing technical leadership on complex projects.
Develop clear transfer roadmaps and keep both customers and internal stakeholders informed with regular updates and presentations.
Take on challenging engineering problems, applying innovative thinking and practical solutions.
Ensure all projects align with stage‑gate reviews and meet regulatory, quality and business requirements.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance products, processes and ways of working.
Work independently with real ownership of results, while also mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
Build alignment across teams, influencing decisions and ensuring smooth collaboration in complex situations.
Qualifications A third‑level qualification in Engineering (Polymer, Biomedical, Mechanical, Design) or a Bachelor's degree in a Science/Technology/Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automation or equivalent).4+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within new product introduction or a medical device manufacturing environment.
Proven project management experience, with a track record of successfully leading NPI projects from concept to commercialisation.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes for catheter‑based products, such as extrusion, moulding, balloon forming, braiding, packaging and assembly techniques.
A hands‑on problem solver with excellent technical, organisational and communication skills.
