Overview
Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join our dynamic EMEA Tax Team in Ireland
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting all areas of the business with respect to indirect taxes.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing EMEA indirect tax compliance, overseeing reporting processes, and providing expert advisory services.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment while ensuring the organisation meets its indirect tax obligations across the EMEA region.
How You'll Make An Impact
Manage EMEA tax compliance processes for indirect taxes.
This will include
reviewing all computations and returns
ensuring accurate and timely submission to tax authorities
managing relationships with external advisers and compliance providers
managing relationships with local and central finance teams
Oversee the maintenance of VAT records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
Manage all tax payments due to tax authorities and ensuring timely payment
Involvement in balance sheet tax reconciliations within ERP system
Participate in managing relationships with tax authorities and manage VAT audits and enquiries
Assistance with EMEA advisory projects including advising on the VAT implications of M&A activity to optimise VAT positions and minimise liabilities
Advise on the VAT implications of business transactions and new projects with support from external advisers.
Support the business in understanding and implementing VAT-efficient structures with support from external advisers.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of VAT compliance and reporting.
Develop and maintain VAT policies and procedures.
Ensure SOX requirements are fully met.
About You
Hold a professional qualification in Tax or Accounting.
Possess strong technical knowledge of indirect tax; familiarity with EMEA tax regulations is highly advantageous.
Demonstrate a general understanding of accounting principles and reporting processes related to indirect taxes.
Proven ability to manage tasks effectively while adhering to strict and challenging deadlines.
Commitment to maintaining and updating technical knowledge in the field.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
