My Dublin based client is recruiting for a SAP FICO Business Analyst. This is a perm role working on a hybrid model. The SAP FICO Business Analyst will support key technology initiatives, including a major SAP S/4HANA implementation. This role involves delivering deep expertise in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring successful system design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support aligned with business goals. This is a hands-on position that involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across functional areas. Key responsibilities include participation in workshops, documentation, system testing, data migration, and post-implementation support, with the Business Analyst acting as the subject matter expert for all SAP FI/CO-related functions. Key Responsibilities Deliver SAP FI/CO expertise across technology projects, particularly in S/4HANA environments. Lead and contribute to workshops for gathering and validating business requirements. Define and review WRICEFs (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms). Develop and validate functional and technical design documents. Draft and review configuration rationale documentation. Support and deliver sprint demos, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Define and support execution of end-to-end test scenarios. Assist in data migration related to SAP FI/CO modules. Provide post-go-live and Business-As-Usual (BAU) support. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, support providers, and technical experts. Participate in stakeholder engagement and change management activities. Occasional travel may be required to support project delivery. Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 5+ years experience with SAP FI/CO, including configuration, implementation, and support. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC6.0. Strong knowledge of FI and CO modules: Finance (FI): AP, AR, GL (including document splitting), Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Tax Controlling (CO): Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, CO-PA Full-cycle SAP implementation experience. Strong documentation and testing abilities. Proven ability to work independently in lead or semi-lead roles. Strong stakeholder management and change enablement skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Desirable Qualifications Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling. Familiarity with Fiori apps and UI. Experience with cloud-based S/4HANA deployments. Knowledge of integration points with SD, MM, EWM, Vistex, and VIM. Exposure to Project Systems (PS) and CO-PA functionalities.
