Our team thrives on delivering safe, professional, and unforgettable events for runners across Ireland.THE ROLEWe're looking for anOperations & Events Managerwho can take ownership of our race calendar from concept to finish line.This role is for someone who loves structure, thrives under pressure, and can manage people, logistics, and deadlines with precision. You'll be givenautonomyto run events, manage suppliers, and improve processes and you'll have a clear path to grow into aGeneral Managerposition within 12-18 months.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEVENT MANAGEMENT & DELIVERYLead operational planning for the JustRace event calendar (Half Marathons, 10Ks, Series events, etc.).Liaise with local councils, Gardaí, and safety officers on permits and event logistics.Manage supplier relationships — barriers, signage, PA, timing, toilets, and medical.Oversee race-day delivery including steward coordination, registration, and course management.Maintain and improve event checklists, budgets, and templates for future efficiency.TEAM & VOLUNTEER COORDINATIONRecruit and coordinate event day teams (stewards, club partners, and volunteers).Deliver staff briefings and ensure smooth operations at each site.Support part-time and seasonal crew with scheduling and communications.BUSINESS OPERATIONSManage stock (medals, T-shirts, signage, equipment).Coordinate logistics (vehicle planning, warehouse, deliveries).Track event budgets, supplier payments, and POs with the admin team.Prepare post-event reports and profit summaries.MARKETING & PARTNERSHIPSWork alongside the marketing team to promote events, partners, and series campaigns.Support sponsor activations and community partnerships.WHAT YOU'LL BRINGProven experience in event operations, sports event management, or production logistics .Excellent planning, time management, and communication skills.Confident dealing with suppliers, volunteers, and authorities.Calm under pressure, problem-solving mindset.Full driving licence (and willingness to travel nationwide for events).Flexibility for weekend work during event season.Passion for sport, running, or community events a strong plus.WHAT WE OFFER€40,000–€45,000 salary, based on experience.Flexible working mix of remote, local, and event-site work.Performance bonus based on event growth and delivery quality.Career growth clear path to General Manager / Operations Director within 2 years.All travel expenses coveredWork with a passionate, growing team in Ireland's running community.HOW TO APPLYSend your CV and a short note about you toSubject: Operations & Events Manager – Application
