Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Front-end Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern frontend technologies, including React, and be able to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement dynamic, user-facing web application features using modern frontend technologies.
* Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs (via REST and Websockets) to enable real-time data updates.
* Translate design concepts and functional requirements into responsive, accessible, and interactive web components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
* Leverage emerging AI-based development tools to streamline the creation and refinement of web components.
* Ensure cross-device and cross-browser compatibility for all web interfaces.
* Optimise frontend performance by refining scripts, compressing assets, and minimising resource loads.
* Maintain high standards for code quality, accessibility, and UI consistency throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Frontend Development: Proficient in building responsive and interactive user interfaces using React, integrating data through REST APIs and WebSocket-based streams.
* Backend Communication: Skilled in handling asynchronous REST API interactions and real-time event processing via WebSockets.
* Teamwork and Workflow: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small, focused development team, comfortable operating in dynamic environments with evolving project requirements.
* Agile Participation: Active engagement in agile workflows, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
* Innovation and Technology Adoption: Strong enthusiasm for staying up to date with cutting-edge technologies, particularly within the AI domain, open to adopting AI-enhanced development tools that support code generation, debugging, and productivity improvements.
Benefits:
* Fully remote role, need to be based in Ireland.
* 500-550 per day (depending on experience).
* Currently living in Ireland.
