Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
* Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and assist with the preparation of management accounts and year-end financial statements
* Manage payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with PAYE, PRSI, USC, and other statutory obligations, as well as submitting returns via Revenue Online Service (ROS)
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, with a strong working knowledge of Irish payroll and tax regulations
* Proficiency in accounting and payroll software such as BrightPay, Sage Payroll, and Xero
* Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
* Strong communication and client service skills, with regular interaction with clients and team members
