Electrical Supervisor, Kildare
Excel Recruitment is delighted to partner with a global facilities and services provider to recruit a high-calibre Electrical Supervisor for their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive organisation supporting a high-profile production site in Kildare, offering a competitive salary of €65,000.
As Electrical Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of all hard services within an integrated facilities management (IFM) environment, with a strong focus on electrical systems. You'll lead a small but skilled team of technicians, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all plant and equipment while maintaining strong client relationships and high service standards.
Responsibilities for Electrical Supervisor
1. Lead and manage planned, reactive, and corrective maintenance activities across all building systems.
2. Ensure compliance and reliability of electrical systems, HVAC, water services, boilers, and life safety equipment.
3. Manage the CAFM (Maximo) system to schedule works, track defects, and maintain asset data.
4. Supervise internal technicians and external contractors, ensuring safe and high-quality service delivery.
5. Oversee site inspections, risk assessments, and permit-to-work processes.
6. Respond promptly to helpdesk requests and reactive maintenance tasks in line with SLA targets.
7. Support procurement, onboarding, and training of FM team members.
8. Monitor budgets, report on performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
9. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence throughout all site activities.
10. Represent the company professionally and maintain positive, proactive relationships with the client.
Requirements for Electrical Supervisor
11. Qualified electrician or strong electrical background with experience in facilities or building services.
12. Proven experience in facilities management or technical maintenance within industrial or production environments.
13. Knowledge of HVAC, lighting, life safety, and control systems.
14. Hands-on approach with the ability to lead and motivate a multi-skilled FM team.
15. Strong understanding of health and safety, statutory compliance, and risk management.
16. Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
17. Experience using CAFM systems (Maximo advantageous).
18. Competent in Microsoft Office and handheld device reporting tools.
19. Full, clean Irish driving licence.
20. Experience within a food manufacturing or production facility is an advantage.
