We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our well-established team in Dublin, reporting to the Infrastructure Project Sales team. The Dublin office primarily handles the sale and implementation of IT Infrastructure and Smart Building projects across various sectors including global tech, finance, pharmaceutical, and commercial.
What you’ll be doing as our Business Development Manager:
1. Interact with sales and estimations teams to familiarize yourself with sales processes.
2. Develop sales opportunities within new and existing clients.
3. Provide ICT updates and CPD sessions to our client and consultant network.
4. Identify, track, and close new sales opportunities to meet annual targets.
5. Attend trade shows and client events.
6. Collaborate with the marketing team to raise awareness and target decision-makers via social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
7. Complete ongoing sales and product training as needed.
8. Help position ONNEC Ireland as the largest ICT infrastructure company in Ireland.
What we’re looking for in our Business Development Manager:
1. Ambitious, enthusiastic, and self-motivated attitude.
2. Results-oriented mindset with strong negotiation skills.
3. A team player who collaborates effectively across departments to ensure full delivery of sales opportunities.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
5. Experience with CRM systems is desirable; training will be provided.
6. Proven experience and knowledge in the ICT infrastructure industry.
7. Flexible working hours to attend client events and travel as required.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
