Key Responsibilities:
* Purchasing and procurement of materials and services based on system requirements and production program needs.
* General administration of all related processes, including purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, order confirmations, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, and supplier negotiations.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining item data within the MRP system, monitoring and analysing supplier delivery performance, updating delivery dates, processing claims, identifying stakeholder business needs, and optimising purchasing parameters to reduce inventory levels while ensuring availability.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a purchasing role with a recognised qualification in a related discipline.
* Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, planning, scheduling, negotiating, and organisational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills, along with advanced IT skills, particularly in MS Excel.
