DesignBuild Search are working with one of Ireland fastest growing Mechanical and Facilities contractors. Due to successfully securing new projects they have an opening for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager in Dublin. The successful applicant will be involved in different projects including Health, Commercial, residential, DC and more. This positions offers the opportunity to work in tandem with directors and the opportunity for further career progression.Requirements:Degree Qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldPrevious Project Management with main contractor or Mechanical ContractorPrevious experience on projects valued €5m +Previous experience managing a mechanical teaAbility to drive projects while working under pressure and within strict deadlinesProficient in IT literacy with the ability to collate and generate detailed site reportsDuties include:Lead projects from the concept stage right through to completion, while defining the technical requirements of the projectCreating and developing project plans as per the scope to include defining a timeline, managing costs and establishing the resources required while ensuring project profitabilityEstablish and maintain strong relationships with the client, suppliers and other partnersManage client concerns and ensure they are dealt with in a thorough and timely mannerLead, develop and retain staff while ensuring the delivery of an efficient & effective servicePlanning of all resources including labour, materials and subcontractorsManage the procurement process for all Mechanical projects to include the pricing of contracts, projects and tenders for the Facilities Management and Project TeamsManage and drive a large team to meet all project requirements and deadlinesManage, direct and co-ordinate the activities of contracted personnel and/or third partiesManage & authorise staffing requirements on site (i.e. overtime) and notify the HR Department of any unscheduled absences. Staffing requirements should be documented and reviewed on a weekly basisEnsure that records are maintained and updated as requiredProvide reports and updates on the progress of projects to the senior management teamEnsure Company systems are implemented correctly upon the commencement of projects to include Safe Work Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments, etc.Ensure all projects are completed to the highest specification in terms of quality, Health and Safety along with client satisfactionEnsure Company systems are implemented correctly upon the commencement of projects to include Safe Work Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments, etc.Ensure all projects are completed to the highest specification in terms of quality, Health and Safety along with client satisfactionAct as a brand ambassador and lead the Company through its ongoing expansionAny other duties as deemed necessary for the efficiency of the business
