About the Team
Workday is looking for Business Development Representatives to join our expanding team. We are looking for driven individuals to proactively build relationships with prospects for Workday, partnering with our accounts executive team across EMEA to develop sales activity. This role provides exposure to collaboration with other departments within Workday such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and more as required.

In partnership with Restart in Tech Forum, we provide coaching to ensure a seamless return-to-work journey into full-time, permanent positions within the Workday Sales Development team.
In this role, you will apply consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors. You will generate new business opportunities through strategic outbound calling and prospecting into enterprise companies, positioning Workday as a viable alternative to legacy solutions and educating the market on our technology.

About You
Basic Qualifications
* 1 year of experience in sales, sales development, recruitment, customer service, renewals, consulting, internships or apprenticeships.
Other Qualifications
* Salesforce knowledge is a plus
* Credibility & value proposition: ability to articulate the value and potential of technology
* Candid communication & trust building: excellent verbal and written English, with ability to build rapport quickly
* Business acumen: ability to absorb new concepts and demonstrate passion for innovation to delight and inspire prospects
* Accountability: motivated, tenacious, and detail-oriented
Flexible Work Approach
With Flex Work, we combine in-person time and remote work to deepen connections and maintain community. We require spending at least half (50%) of each quarter in the office or with customers, depending on role, to enable flexible scheduling that supports the business and personal needs.
