Known for their commitment to innovation, service quality, and patient outcomes, they are now looking to appoint a Field Service Manager to lead their technical service team. Role Overview As the Field Service Manager, you will lead and develop the service department, overseeing a team of field engineers and technical specialists. The role is hybrid and requires both office presence in Bray and field work across hospitals in Ireland. You will ensure efficient service delivery, maintain compliance standards, and uphold exceptional customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage and support the field service engineering team across Ireland. Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, and deployment of resources. Ensure timely and compliant installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment in hospital and clinical environments. Act as the key point of contact for hospital clients on technical service matters. Develop and implement service processes and KPIs to improve efficiency and quality. Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Operations, QA/RA) to ensure alignment on service strategies. Support training and development for engineering staff. Monitor and manage service documentation, compliance logs, and regulatory standards. Manage budgets, tools, spare parts inventory, and service-level agreements (SLAs). Conduct regular site audits and quality checks. Ensure adherence to ISO, MDR, and HSE standards. Candidate Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in a field service role, preferably within the medical devices or healthcare technology sector. Proven track record in team leadership or service management roles. Strong understanding of hospital environments, medical technology, and relevant compliance requirements. Excellent communication, organisation, and client-facing skills. Full clean drivers license. Technical qualifications (e.g. Electronic, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering) preferred.
