Job Role Overview:
The role of Clinical Nurse Manager 1 is to oversee the management, care and treatment of service users within designated areas of responsibility.
This involves providing leadership and guidance to nursing teams through in-service training, orientation of new staff and clinical experience and supervision of student nurses.

Key Responsibilities Include:
* Leading by example and providing professional leadership to the team.
* In absence of CNM2/PIC, stepping into the CNM2/PIC role and rostering responsibilities.
Necessary Qualifications and Skills:
* Current registration in the Psychiatric division of the Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland (NMBI).
* A minimum of two years post qualification experience in Mental Health, Care of the Older Person, Mental Health and or Psychiatry of Later Life settings.
* Adequate knowledge of psychiatric nursing administrative procedures.
