We are currently looking for a Staff Nurse to lead our team and ensure we are offering the best standard of care to our Residents.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the effective running of the nursing home and promote a positive, client-centred environment.
Monitor clients’ health, report concerns promptly, and arrange GP or professional reviews as needed.
Complete, update, and maintain individualised care plans in line with An Bord Altranais and company policies.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care needs for all clients, including new admissions.
Maintain accurate documentation, conduct regular client checks, and provide clear handover reports each shift.
Administer and document medications safely and according to professional and company guidelines.
Uphold integrity and confidentiality in all interactions, including clients’ personal and financial matters.
Maintain effective communication with clients, families, colleagues, and the multidisciplinary team; attend required meetings.
Adhere to all Health & Safety, Fire, and Emergency policies; report hazards, accidents, or infections immediately.
Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure equipment is clean and secure, and perform additional reasonable duties as assigned.

Current registration with An Bord Altranais
Team player
Registered Nurse (1st level)
Experience or qualification in care for the relevant client category
