General maintenance and repairs to both interior/exterior of building and grounds including painting, grass cutting, strimming, weeding, hedge cutting,
Organising classrooms, maintaining equipment, waste management, monitoring the building, opening and closing for various events
Occasional painting and DIY tasks
Key-holding and basic security tasks,
Assisting with school health & safety protocols
Checking school and school grounds after weather events yellow, orange and red warnings The ideal Candidate will have:
A strong sense of responsibility and initiative
Practical DIY skills in order to carry out painting and minor repairs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Respect for the ethos and confidentiality of a school environment
Flexibility to accommodate occasional out-of-hours access (e.g. school meetings, works)
Duties will change in accordance with the needs of the school.
The successful candidate must be flexible and work off their own initiative.
