Executive Sous Chef Position
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Sous Chef to join our esteemed hotel located in the beautiful Kerry region.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the delivery of outstanding dining experiences across all food departments and offerings. This role involves supervising and mentoring a team of kitchen staff, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of culinary professionals in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
* Mentor and develop junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Develop and implement menus that showcase modern plating styles and cuisines.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP).

Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within a culinary environment.
* Proven track record of leading teams in high-pressure situations.
* Strong understanding of various cuisines, food preparation techniques, and modern plating styles.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.
