Enhanced Nurse Role
As a member of our team, you will be working in a residential and respite setting for adults with complex physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities. Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality person-centred care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. This includes collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement individualised plans that cater to the unique requirements of each resident.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, specifically in intellectual disability care. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to build strong relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders. A clean driving licence and willingness to transport service users are also essential requirements.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation, adhering to HIQA standards and regulations. You will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and Person in Charge to ensure compliance and maintain the highest level of care within the centre. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment that promotes the well-being and dignity of all residents.
