About the Role
We're looking for a friendly, organised, and confident Team Leader to help deliver a magical experience at Santa's Grotto this festive season
As the Grotto Cashier / Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, welcoming families, and supporting our event team to create memorable moments for every visitor.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement: Welcome Greet visitors warmly, handle general enquiries, and ensure exceptional customer service.
Dealing professionally with customer enquiries.
Manage the daily appointment list and accommodate walk-in visitors
Sales and Merchandising: Actively promote and upsell merchandise options.
Handle cash and card payments efficiently and accurately.
Maintenance– Ensure the smooth running of the experience and create a welcoming, well-presented environment.
Monitor and manage stock levels (e.g., gifts, merchandise, tickets)
Operational Support: Assist with opening/closing procedures and perform inventory.
Team Reporting: Guide and motivate staff to deliver an exceptional experience with enthusiasm and confidence.
Provide daily handovers and updates to your line manager
About You
Previous experience in a team leader, supervisor, or cashier role (retail, hospitality, or events)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
Confident managing a small team and working in a busy environment
Ability to excel in a dynamic, customer-facing role.
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
Must be available to work weekends and peak dates in December
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €*****-€***** per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
