Health and Safety Supervisor - PV Solar Projects (18 Month Fixed Term Contract)At ENGIE, we're leading the charge in the energy transition, and we need passionate professionals like you to help us create a more sustainable future.As a Health and Safety Supervisor for our PV Solar projects in Ireland, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our construction sites maintain the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.Join us in shaping the renewable energy landscape while fostering a culture of safety excellence.Core ResponsibilitiesServe as ENGIE's on-site representative for Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) issuesCoordinate and supervise HSE activities across multiple PV Solar construction sitesVerify contractor compliance with project safety plans and ENGIE's HSE requirementsConduct risk analyses and promote last-minute risk assessments for new or adapted processesLead daily HSE meetings and maintain high safety standards through various engagement toolsInvestigate and report on incidents, near-misses, and potential high-risk situationsPrepare monthly HSE reports and track key performance indicatorsSupport the attainment and maintenance of ISO accreditationsWhat You Will Bring To The Role.Hold an accredited Professional Health and Safety qualification (essential)Possess a strong working knowledge of Republic of Ireland Health and Safety legislationHave experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in the construction or renewable energy sectorDemonstrate familiarity with environmental regulations, particularly in waste managementExhibit excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenShow proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and WordDisplay strong problem-solving and dispute resolution abilitiesIdeally, have experience in PSCS and/or PSDP roles (desirable)Hold a recognized Fire Risk Assessor qualification (desirable)Job Based InOur PV Solar projects are located acrossGalway, Limerick, and Offaly, within a radius of approximately 100 km.
