Reporting to:Head of Housing Services – NeighbourhoodsDepartment:Housing Services & Community EngagementContract Type:Fixed-Term Contract, 24 Months, HybridPlace of Work: Limerick or Cork Regional OfficeABOUT USCo-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) is the national organisation representing, promoting and developing co-operative housing in Ireland. Since our foundation in 1973 we have provided over 5,700 homes through homeownership, shared ownership and social rented co-operatives. As an Approved Housing Body (AHB), we work with various stakeholders in the housing sector, including Local Authorities, Government, aspiring homeowners, tenants and developers. We currently manage over 6,708 properties across Ireland.ROLE OVERVIEWTo lead and manage a team, working collaboratively with other teams to deliver housing management services to customers living in a defined geographical area. To collaborate with colleagues and integrate the neighbourhood service with other parts of the business, including the Asset Management and Property Services division in order to ensure customers receive a seamless service. To deliver services of high quality, replicating high standards continually, achieving and exceeding performance targets.This is a 24-month fixed-term contract based on a Monday to Friday working week, although some evening and weekend working will be required. The role has a contracted office base, but our way of working means that hybrid-working (a mix of office-based working and working from home and other locations) is normal.WHAT YOU WILL DOHousing Management:Provide subject matter expertise in housing management for a defined geographical area and provide housing management services to all customers to agreed targets and standards.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.Voids Management:Be accountable for voids performance in each of your neighbourhoods ensuring that performance targets are met.Delivery:Directly deliver tenancy services (lettings, allocations, tenancy management and estate management) and work with other teams to customers' needs are met.Customer Voice:Listen to customers, develop good working relationships and provide opportunities for customers to become involved and influence service provision and scrutinise performance at neighbourhood level.Management, Leadership and Culture Change:Manage the budgets, resources and priorities of the team ensuring effective and efficient use of resources to deliver agreed performance targets and customer satisfaction.Drive culture change based on the stated culture and priorities of the Housing Services and Community Engagement division.Partnership Working:Identify, build and develop an extensive network of external partnerships to ensure that the interests of the organisation are served.WHAT YOU WILL BRINGEssential Requirements:Experience of leading a team to high level performance.Experience of delivering high levels of customer service.Experience of housing management in a broad range of specialisms.Experience of working with and influencing external partners.Experience of producing operational plans and then successfully delivering on those plans.Experience of interpreting complex data and using it to inform business decisions.Experience of leading and developing people.Experience of working proactively to develop services and improve customer satisfaction.IT. skills – Proficient in the use of Microsoft office.Permission to work in The Republic of Ireland.Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle.A relevant professional qualification is desirable.WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive Salary Bands22 Days Annual Leave + 3 Company Privilege DaysAnnual leave increase to 30 days linked to length of serviceGenerous Company Pension Contributions (up to 12% employer contribution)Income ProtectionPaid Sick leave SchemeEducational Assistance ProgramPaid Study & Exam LeaveEmployee Assistance Program (EAP Scheme)Life Cover/Death in ServicePaid Professional SubscriptionHybrid-WorkingFree Annual Colleague Health ScreeningSELECTION PROCESSPlease note that interviews for this position may take place anytime from the launch date to closing date until a successful candidate is found.How to Apply: Interested applicants should submit a CV and Cover Letter via this link or by following the link on the website on Due to the high volume of applications received, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applications.
