Designate Deputy Manager – Dublin Region

Our client, a renowned and iconic retail store, is seeking an experienced Designate Deputy Manager in Dublin to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple departments across a variety of Dublin stores.
This role is ideal for fashion or homeware store or area managers who have successfully led high-volume stores with annual turnovers of €12-15 million and led teams of 50+, and are passionate about delivering results in a customer-focused environment.
Essential experience & skills required for this Designate Manager:
1. Proven experience as a senior store manager within a high-volume fashion or department store environment.
2. Proven experience in managing managers is essential.
3. A strong track record of managing large teams (50+) and driving operational success in stores with a turnover of €10-15 million.
4. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams at all levels.
5. Commercial acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
6. Strong knowledge around KPI's and P&L.
Responsibilities for this Designate Manager:
7. Oversee the operation of multiple departments, ensuring that each performs to its highest potential and meets sales and operational targets.
8. Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of 50+ staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
9. Drive sales performance across the store, ensuring revenue goals are met and exceeded through effective planning and execution.
10. Ensure an outstanding customer experience by maintaining high standards of service, quality, and store presentation.
11. Monitor budgets, control costs, and implement strategies to maximise profitability and operational efficiency.
12. Report on key performance indicators, ensuring consistent improvement and alignment with business objectives.
13. Take ownership of daily operations, including stock management, merchandising, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
