Building Projects Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled professional to work on building projects in South Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with main contractors, subcontractors, or surveying firms and will possess excellent communication skills.
The role requires the ability to conduct work in a safe manner, adhere to Health and Safety standards, and ensure that all works are carried out to the highest quality standards.
The Building Projects Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that setting-out information is relevant and available in a format that can be easily communicated on site.
The role also involves developing and maintaining professional working relationships with work colleagues and Design Teams.
The successful candidate will review detailed design, critique, and communicate with designers to ensure adequate design is available for construction.
The Building Projects Coordinator will coordinate the development of design from designer's details to approved workshop drawings or technical information from subcontractors.
Additional responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc., management of subcontractors/general workforce on site, planning works in an efficient manner to ensure program targets are achieved, ordering and control of materials on site, and maintaining site records and records of discussions/meetings with designers and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have a third-level qualification in Engineering and 5+ years proven experience in setting out or working as a Site engineer in previous roles.
Experience working with a main contractor, subcontractor, surveying firm or similar is preferred.
The candidate should also have good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and excellent communication skills.
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint etc. is essential.
Requirements
* A third level qualification in Engineering

* Experience working with a main contractor, subcontractor, surveying firm or similar preferred
* Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
* Excellent communication skills
