Tara Mines operates one of Europe's largest Underground Zinc Mine at Navan, Ireland. Tara Mines is a member of the Boliden Group, a leading metals company with operations in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Ireland.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, this is a senior leadership role with responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple projects from planning through to completion. You will manage contracts, lead project teams, and ensure that all works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget—while maintaining strong relationships with workstream owners, consultants and stakeholders.Experience and Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years in a similar role.Experience of working in a regulated industry.Third Level Qualification in Science, Engineering or related discipline is desirable.Advanced competency in MS Project and MS office suite.Previous Experience of people management is an advantageSkills and Capabilities:Work effectively as a senior Project Manager, building strong relationships across the organisation, operating in a flexible and collaborative manner.Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsEducation, knowledge and skills required for this position.Knowledge of the mining industry/ heavy industry.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong analytical ability, with a logical approach to problem solving and sound judgement.Dynamic, with a natural focus on the 'big picture', combined with strong attention to detail.Proactive, with a 'can-do' approach and the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.Consistently models Boliden's core values in the workplace and apply same to driving change/resolution of conflict and safety.Demonstrates a willingness to drive new opportunities – continuous improvementsAdditional Info:This role will be full-time 5 days a week, Mon- Friday 08:00- 16:30There will be a degree of flexibility required as part of this role in line with operational requirements.We strive to achieve diversity and inclusion among our employees and therefore welcome all applicants.
