The Role You'll Play
In this Graduate Electrical Engineer role, you’ll join a team that designs some of the most exciting construction projects in the UK and worldwide. You’ll provide specialist consultancy input on projects across sectors including education, healthcare, workplace, retail and critical systems (data centres).
Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you’ll undertake detailed electrical building services engineering design and analysis, translating clients’ needs into designs for buildings, facilities and services (electrical distribution and power generation, lighting design, security systems, etc.), with sustainability at the forefront.
You’ll have the opportunity to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop. Accredited professional development programmes from CIBSE and IET will support you towards achieving chartership.
The Skills You'll Bring
* On target to achieve at least a 2:2 degree.
* Desirable if accredited with or on course to achieve a BEng/MEng degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Interest in Electrical Engineering, particularly with Building Design or Critical Systems.
* Desire for personal and professional development; able to work effectively as part of a team; organised and methodical with tasks, priorities and deadlines.
* Understanding of digital engineering concepts (Parametric Modelling Techniques such as Grasshopper or Dynamo) or at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, C#, VB).
* Collaborative, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to use initiative to overcome challenges with a positive, can-do attitude.
