We're searching for a Statutory Accountant to join Cohesity's growing Global Accounting team, reporting to our Accounting Manager in EMEA, in Cork, Ireland.
This role will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements and reviewing the month end financial close. You will leverage experience in statutory compliance to assist efforts in ensuring financial statement audits and statutory filings are managed and completed efficiently. You'll accomplish this through partnering closely with the global Finance and Accounting teams, building relationships with local outsourced providers, and with internal stakeholders in HR and Lega
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
* Correspondence with vendors/employees regarding payment statuse
* sPrepare and submit statutory financial statements across multiple entities in compliance with GAAP or IFRS
* .Key point of contact for the completion of statutory audits of EMEA entities including statutory financial statement preparation, coordination with external audit firms and internal stakeholders
* .Address audit findings and implement recommendations to enhance financial controls
* .Review of completed management accounts package including working papers and FLUX analysis on monthly basis
* .Review balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness monthly
* .Preparing of statutory accounting journals into NetSuite
* .Present monthly data to management and fully understand the accounts to provide clarity
* .Operate globally, cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization, taking ownership and demonstrating self-initiative
* .Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects as required
