Accounts Administrator
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team in the Briarhill area.
This is a part-time position offering flexible working hours, ideal for someone seeking work life balance while maintaining a professional accounting role.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records using Sage 50
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with Irish tax regulations
• Process payroll using Thesaurus Payroll, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
• Support directors with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Reconcile bank accounts, manage cash flow, and oversee accounts payable/receivable
• Liaise with auditors and tax advisors during year-end and compliance reviews.
Requirements
• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting role
• Proficient in Sage 50 and Thesaurus Payroll
• Strong understanding of VAT and payroll compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
