Client:Our client, a leading Multinational Semiconductor Telecom Company, requires a Senior Embedded Security Software Engineer for a role based in Cork City, Ireland. The role requires the candidate to be onsite four days per week.Role:You will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialised utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world-class products that meet and exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.Responsibilities:Applies security knowledge and experience to achieve engineering business objectives.Develops new hardware and software security features and updates features into existing products; ensures security of all products is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.Performs security assessments and evaluations of company products, including vulnerability and risk assessments, threat analysis, and security code reviews to identify potential design and implementation vulnerabilities.Develops security architectures and designs for products and sub-systems and collaborates with teams to adopt and implement them.Identifies remediation for security risks and vulnerabilities, responds to product security incidents, and assists customers regarding product security-related issues.Develops and deploys training and tools that result in secure product development.Experience:Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.5 years plus experience with programming languages such as C, ARM, Python, kernel development, etc.2 years plus of security engineering experience or related work experience.Contact:For further information, please contact Mícheál at Software Placements on 00353 1 5254642 or email micheal@softwareplacements.ie.
