Job Description
This Assistant Professor, within the Discipline of Electronic and Electrical Engineering in the School of Engineering, will contribute to teaching, research and administrative activities. The appointment will complement existing staff in Energy Generation Management and Control, Propulsion, Circuits and Systems. The focus is on Electrification and Electrical Power Management and Control, including renewable integration, grid‑interfaced control systems for solar and wind, high‑efficiency power conversion, battery management, advanced power electronics, small‑scale electrical machines and system optimisation.
Responsibilities
Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate modules and engage in both teaching and research.
Support the growth of the E3 programme across the Faculty.
Participate in departmental and school administration.
Qualifications & Requirements
Tenure‑track position (first five years), subject to satisfying tenure requirements. Salary on Lecturer Salary Scale (109BN), €42,500 to €101,541 per annum (subject to qualifications and experience).
