Apprentice Butcher Role
This is a full-time position working an average of 45 hours per week, five days over seven including weekends and public holidays.
1. Assist the butchery team in day-to-day operations of this busy department
2. General counter service duties
3. Counter merchandising and displays
4. Provide excellent customer care to all customers
5. Execute HACCP duties
Requirements:
* Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
* A minimum of two years' experience working as a butcher or apprentice butcher in a busy premises is essential
* Strong knowledge of fresh meat and butchery products is required
* Must have been trained in HACCP
* Excellent customer care skills are mandatory
* Strong interpersonal skills are necessary
* Effective communication skills are essential
