Take full ownership of the end-to-end AR and credit control process, including oversight of collections, credit risk management, and aged debt resolution. Manage a large portfolio of high-volume accounts, including complex and high-risk clients across multiple industries. Build strong relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collections and dispute resolution. Report directly to senior leadership with regular updates on performance metrics, aged debt, risk exposure, and cash flow forecasts. Monitor KPIs and implement strategic improvements to drive efficiencies, improve DSO, and minimise bad debt. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve escalated queries and ensure compliance with company policy and credit terms. Analyse AR ageing reports and provide insight-led recommendations to drive decision-making. Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and industry regulations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across the AR function. What Were Looking For: Minimum 3+ years experience in a Credit Control or AR Management role, with full team leadership responsibility. Proven ability to manage high-risk, high-volume accounts in a fast-paced, commercial environment. Strong people management skills with a coaching, hands-on leadership style. Confident communicator with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making. Comfortable working to tight deadlines, targets, and performance metrics. Proficient in credit control/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (reporting and analysis). Highly organised, results-driven, and solutions-focused.
