Job Description
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a committed team, providing support to residents and day-attendees in a leading national organisation. Your role involves collaborating with colleagues to deliver person‑centred care and contribute to the holistic development of individuals with physical, intellectual and autism‑related needs.
Requirements
Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or an equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
CORU registration or proof of application in progress.
Have 1 year of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
Understand current policy and developments at national and sectoral levels relating to Social Care within disability services.
Ability to follow, evaluate, and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
A full driver’s licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
