Organisational Development Executive – 12 Month FTC
IDA Ireland is the government inward investment and development agency focused on attracting foreign direct investment (FDI). We partner with global companies to establish and expand their operations in Ireland, providing market insights and business environment analysis.
Job Purpose
The HR & OD workplan for 2026 is busy, including the implementation of learning and talent management systems, embedding new organisational values, a new leadership philosophy and the roll‑out of a new capability framework. The OD Executive will support these initiatives while maintaining core OD activities such as employee engagement, learning and development, performance, HR communications, graduate program management, mentorship programme and other OD activities at a high standard.
Key Tasks
* Support the overall function of HR and Organisational Development in line with IDA’s strategy, Adapt Intelligently: A Strategy for Sustainable Growth and Innovation 2025‑29.
* Collaborate with the OD Manager & OD Team to deliver change management programmes and related HR & OD activities.
* Drive employee engagement, learning and development (IDA Learning Academy), annual performance process, IDA Tuition Aid process, HR communications, IDA Mentorship programme, graduate programme management and policy review.
* Assist in selection and recruitment, provide feedback to staff and candidates, write and present HR briefs to internal stakeholders up to board level, and ensure IDA values and culture are central to OD activity.

Additional Requirements
* Level 8 HR/OD qualification (National Qualification Framework) is essential.
* Ability to work well under pressure, flexibly and independently on own initiative against tight deadlines.
* Up-to-date knowledge of theory and good practice in key OD areas (change management, organisational culture, learning & development, talent management).
* Excellent judgement, confidentiality and discretion.
* Strong verbal and written communications skills.
* Domestic and occasional international travel, flexible working hours required.
* Full driving licence essential.
Salary & Benefits
