Our team is seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to oversee operational performance across multiple venues in Dublin, Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of General Managers, driving commercial outcomes, championing customer satisfaction, and acting as a key strategic link between our headquarters and the venues.
1. Lead & Develop: Inspire, mentor, and support a team of nine General Managers across Ireland, driving commercial outcomes, championing customer satisfaction, and acting as a key strategic link between HQ and the venues.
2. Drive Performance: Manage full profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities, analyse data, and optimise revenue and cost structures to ensure financial success.
3. Ensure Consistency: Standardise operational excellence and customer experience across all venues, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
4. Strategic Execution: Translate company goals into location-level action plans and support implementation, fostering a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
5. Cross-Functional Liaison: Collaborate with Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, and other departments to drive initiatives, ensuring effective communication and seamless execution.
6. Set KPIs & Monitor Results: Define key success metrics, conduct performance reviews, and provide clear feedback to General Managers, driving continuous improvement.
7. Lead Projects: Oversee national projects such as refurbishments, technology rollouts, and new site openings, managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in multi-site operations within retail, hospitality, leisure, or similar sectors, with a strong command of P&L, KPI dashboards, budgeting, and commercial analysis.
* Proven ability to lead managers, deliver financial results, and scale best practices across locations, with a focus on innovation and adaptability.
* Must hold a full Irish driving licence and be willing to travel nationwide as role requires, supporting business growth and development.
